At some point today, I crossed the 1,000-mile mark. I feel like it, too. I also finished up my brief stint in Idaho and moved on to Wyoming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As I packed up this morning, I could hear the sounds of cows on the move. It didn\u2019t take me long to find them once I got going. The chase was on. A large group was on the trail and, as usual, fled. They seem to think it\u2019s a good idea to stick to the trail instead of running off to the side. We approached another group, and they joined in. Even though they were off on the sidelines, they felt compelled to join in the chase and started running up to the trail, entering through corridors between the shrubs. Cows were running into each other, and suddenly, I found myself right in the middle of the mayhem with cows coming in next to and behind me. I stopped in fear of being trampled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Soon after, a second cow chase ensued, which I caught in this bumpy video clip.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
