Not funny. It unexpectedly rained all day. There were a few respites, but the rain was just replaced by cold headwinds. I took a few breaks and skipped lunch to keep moving to stay \u2018warm.\u2019 There\u2019s a fine line there; at some point, you run out of calories and exhaust yourself. I managed to push through with only a few quick snacks. I\u2019ve had a big dinner to catch up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I was surprised to find that I\u2019d covered so many miles today. I guess that happens when I keep moving and have other things to distract me from the seat. I was also afraid to get off the uni because getting back on proved to be more and more of a challenge as the day wore on. My fingers were numb, and I had trouble holding on to the uni to hop on it. Sometimes, I\u2019d try, and it\u2019d just go flying out of my hands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The sun finally poked through just before I arrived at camp. It promptly set, but it was enough to cheer me up a little and give me hope that tomorrow will be a better day.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Okay, which one of you transported me back to Canada?
