Murray and Craig headed off late this morning, and I soon settled into the recliner with my leg propped up and a bag of ice on my ankle. The staff here has been super nice; they brought me some pain relief cream and Epsom salts for soaking. I must be quite a sight as I sit outside in front of the motel room with a unicycle and my foot in a trash can (for soaking in the Epsom salts).<\/p>\n<\/div>

This afternoon, my brace arrived at the pharmacy, so I went to pick it up. On the way back, I stopped at the grocery store and bought way too much food, intending to load up on calories before heading off in the morning.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

As I soaked my foot this evening, three other riders checked into the motel, followed by five others a little later. I also ran into a couple at the grocery store who are riding the route. We\u2019re taking over the town!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
